The Name of the Association shall be "INDIAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION TELANGANA STATE BRANCH" (under Indian Medical Association, Head Quarters New Delhi). The IMA TELANGANA State Branch shall have its area of operation in entire TELANGANA STATE, as per the Andhra Pradesh Division Act/2013-2014. To promote and advance Medical and Allied Sciences in all their different Branches and to promote Public Health and Medical Education in TELANGANA STATE. To uphold Medical Ethics and code of conduct to maintain and protect the honour and dignity and to uphold the interests of the Medical Profession and to promote fellowship and Co-operation among the members of Medical fraternity and to protect the Immovable and Financial Asses of IMA-TS and under guidance of IMA-Trust and IMA-TS Past President's Council. To participate in National health care programmes and / or to initiate action on Health Care Regulatory/legislation formulations towards equitabloe health care delivery service to the people of Telangaha and to educate the public in the matter of Public Health and to promote public relationship. A Present the Member's strength are more than 19,000 Members.

Aim of Family Security Scheme is to give financial support to the bereaved family of the member in the scheme in the event of unfortunate death. This Scheme has a claim of Rs 20 Lakhs for a demise member. The Scheme was started in the year 2004, to provide succour to the families of the deceased IMA members in the scheme. So far 195 families of our unfortunate colleagues from Telangana area were benefited, with total disbursment being Rs 25 crores to the nominees. After of division of FSS subsequent to division of Telugu states, FSS IMA TS came into existence on 01/04/2017. Since division,Ten FC bills have been sent to the members and Rs 24 crores were disbursed to families of 92 of our unfortunate colleagues. A Present the Member's strength in this scheme are 4000 Members.

The scheme benefit is exclusively for the scheme member’s family after death. Aim of the scheme is to help our colleagues by contribution only. At the same time to help our family also. The scheme was started by 1989. The beneficiary amount. For A-Series is Rs. 6 lakhs and for Regular-Series is Rs.10.5 lakhs. Currently the Member's strength are more than 800 Members in A-Series and more than 2200 Members in Regular-Series

This scheme has started in the year 1996. PP&W Scheme is for the Doctors, of the Doctors and by the Doctors. Helps Doctors to counter any legal litigations in your practice in Hospital, Nursing Homes & Diagnostics Centers, PP&W Scheme provides the best defense in difficult times. This scheme is financially sound to fulfill for paying the court awards. Currently the Member's strength are around 2000 Members.

The scheme was conceptualized in March, 2019, to help members of IMA Telangana State, to meet the needs of hospitalization, especially for critical care illness. It was inaugurated on Telangana formation day i.e. 2nd June 2019 and started functioning from 1st August 2019. The scheme is run by IMA Telangana State for the benefit of our medical fraternity and their family members, even if they are not from medical profession..

The member's payments details prior to the date are consolidated for the available files in FSS/FBS/PP&WS and HS office. These receipts are dated 01-06-2003 for pratical purpose. How ever the earlier orginal receipts are with the members. And hence forth the dynamic updates of the payments are as per acutal date. Any doubts can be clarified with office of the IMA FSS/FBS/PP&WS and HS at Telangana.
